Higher strength 6000 series alloy suitable to moredemanding
application than 6063.
Extrudes at lower speeds than 6063. |
APPLICATION
Commonly used structural alloy in the building and transport
industries.
Typical uses-Transport:
truck/tanker/bus bodies, bus chassis, aircraft fittings,
trilers, rail wagons; Building/Machinery: I&H
beams, cranes, conveyors, machinery and equipment,
couplings and diesel fittings. |

GENERAL
COMMENTS
High level of extrudability. Greater strength than 6060HE.
With proper extrusion practice can meet minimum 6063T6
mechanical properties, whilst comfortably meeting minimum
6063T5 properties. |
APPLICATION
Widely used architectural alloy with numerous applications.
These include window frames, security doors, shoop fronts,
walkway systems, flyscreens, handrails, partitions, suspended
ceilings, highway sign, builders hardware as well as electronic
equipment. |
